Weingarten Center – Academic Support

Penn Engineering Online students have access to a variety of resources specifically designed to support their online learning through the University’s Weingarten Center. The Penn Engineering Online Student Success Advising team is also available to meet with you to discuss other study tools and resources. 

MOSA (MCIT Online Student Association) Mentor Program

Our Peer Mentorship Program can help connect you with a mentor who will help to share guidance and experience. All of our mentors are MCIT students and have taken at least three (3) courses and come from a variety of industries and domains, but most of all, they have the drive to help their peers, like you, find the answers beyond the class.Mentors can provide a much-needed resource for mentees in helping to navigate MCIT, offer tips on work/life balance, and prepare for interviews, jobs, etc. Mentors at MCIT Online have expressed a desire to give back to the community and help those who are new to the program

Penn Libraries

Online students have access to e-journals, e-books, interlibrary loan, Scan and Deliver, Books by Mail, and other library resources.

Wellness at Penn; Office of Student Health and Counseling

If you’re experiencing mental health issues, contact Wellness at Penn; Office of Student Health and Counseling, our counseling center, for a referral to mental health providers in your area.

Office of the Ombuds

The Office of the Ombuds is a confidential, neutral, informal, and independent resource assisting with the management of conflict, resolution of disputes, and problem solving in relation to obstacles to one’s full and successful participation as a student at Penn. Call 215.898.8261
